4. ABC is an isosceles triangle right angled at C. Prove that
Solution:
Given: ABC is an isosceles triangle right angled at C.
To Prove:
Proof: Because ABC is an isosceles triangle. It means AC = BC. (1)
Using pythagoras theorem we get,

{Pythagoras theorem states that in a right angled triangle, the square of hypotenuse is equal to the sum of squares of the other two sides.}
Putting (1) in (2), we get
Hence Proved
